As Team Leader- Clinical Skills and Simulation youll lead a multi-campus technical team dedicated to supporting immersive simulation and practical learning experiences that prepare the next generation of nurses midwives and health professionals.
This is a non-teaching leadership role focused on supervising a team of technical simulation and scientific officers who ensure the smooth delivery of clinical skills and simulation activities.
Your team will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including setting up resetting and packing down simulation environments and clinical skills stations; maintaining and servicing equipment; adhering to health and safety practices; and developing and updating relevant documentation.
This role also involves coordinating the many varied technical and operational tasks that underpin high-quality simulation and practical learning. Youll provide leadership guidance and support to ensure these activities run seamlessly across multiple campuses enabling students to gain the hands-on experience they need to succeed in their future careers.

- Partner with Course Convenors and academic staff to plan and deliver practical and immersive simulated learning experiences that enhance student engagement and outcomes.
- Oversee the management of teaching laboratories workshops and simulation spaces ensuring safety efficiency and innovation.
- Manage equipment maintenance procurement and installation ensuring industry-standard functionality across all facilities.
- Drive excellence in technical operations through reporting process optimisation and best-practice documentation.
- Collaborate on cross-campus projects timetables rosters and special events including Open Day and community engagement activities.
- Tertiary qualification in Nursing or Midwifery ( highly regarded).
This is a continuing full time position and can be primarily based at any of our Griffith campuses (Gold Coast Nathan or Logan). As a multi-campus University with the School of Nursing and Midwifery operating across these campuses there is an expectation that your time will be distributed equitably across the campuses.

Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW 7 range $101068 - $109496 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $118249 - $128110 per annum.
