We are seeking bright minds to join our Forensic Data Analytics team where you will play a role in helping our clients calculate and compensate for breaches of law policy or standards.
Examples of our projects include:
- Examine and resolve issues related to wage underpayment.
- Assess non-compliance with regulatory reporting requirements including those under AML/CTF legislation such as IFTI SMR and TTR.
- Support fraud and misconduct investigations with data analytics.
- Monitor transactions for fraud bribery corruption collusion anti-money laundering and terrorism financing.
- Utilise data analytics to support economic loss assessments in legal disputes.
Your Opportunity
In this role you will be conducting business analysis data investigation and analytic skills to identify investigate quantify and report on various issues such as financial errors regulatory non-compliance and wage underpayment.
- Investigate business problems and establish clear business requirements.
- Identify relevant data sources and evidence to support analysis.
- Develop and agree upon identification/calculation methodologies.
- Review data quality and identify impacted cohorts.
- Develop SQL scripts to determine facts and calculate remediation payments based on business requirements.
- Conduct testing and analyse root causes and potential fixes.
- Document results and prepare working papers and reports to support analysis.

Your Experience
- This role will require you to use SQL and Excel and work with large amounts of complex data to solve business problems.
- A background in law payroll audit risk accounting or finance will be desirable but not necessary.
