Public & Regulatory Solicitor
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Public and Regulatory Solicitor (27 years PQE) to join a leading Dublin law firm as part of its expanding Public & Regulatory team.
This role will particularly suit a solicitor with a background in healthcare law or litigation-based public and regulatory work who is looking to deepen their exposure to complex high-profile public law and regulatory matters.
You will advise a broad range of statutory professional and regulatory bodies across investigations enforcement and disciplinary proceedings working closely with senior lawyers on significant public law and regulatory litigation while enjoying genuine responsibility and strong career progression.
The Role
You will:
Advise regulatory and professional bodies on fitness to practise disciplinary and enforcement matters
Prepare and present cases before disciplinary committees boards and tribunals
Advise on Superior Court litigation including judicial review and statutory appeals
Provide advice on statutory interpretation regulatory powers and compliance
Manage competing priorities while maintaining excellent client service standards
About You
You will be:
A qualified solicitor with 27 years PQE in Public Regulatory or Administrative Law
Experienced in healthcare law or litigation-based public & regulatory work
Experienced in litigation with judicial review experience highly desirable
A strong legal drafter with excellent research and analytical skills
Confident managing complex matters and client relationships
Commercially aware proactive and highly organised
A collaborative team player with the ability to manage a busy workload independently
Desirable Experience
Experience in any of the following would be an advantage:
Acting for healthcare bodies regulators or professional bodies
Fitness to practise and disciplinary proceedings
Regulation of financial services or technology providers
EU regulatory law particularly in regulated sectors
