ROLE SUMMARY:

Kings College Soto de Viñuelas the founding school of the Kings Group was established in 1969 and is widely recognised for its academic excellence and holistic approach to education. We are seeking an energetic and committed Head of Primary PE& PE Teacher to lead our Primary Physical Education provision and contribute to PE teaching in the Secondary School up to IGCSE level starting August 2026.

The successful candidate will combine strong classroom practice with strategic leadership to inspire students promote wellbeing and physical development and contribute to the broader life of the school.

Lead and coordinate the delivery of high-quality Physical Education across the Primary School.
Teach PE to Primary pupils and selected Secondary classes (up to IGCSE).
Develop and implement schemes of work and assessment in line with school and curriculum requirements.
Organise and promote sporting events inter-house competitions and extracurricular activities.
Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure continuity of progression in Physical Education
Contribute to the schools pastoral and co-curricular programmes modelling the values and ethos of Kings College

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

A degree in Physical Education Sports Science or a related field plus a recognised teaching qualification (QTS PGCE or equivalent).
Proven experience teaching PE in a Primary setting and up to IGCSE level.
Demonstrated leadership experience or readiness to lead a department.
A passion for promoting physical activity health and wellbeing.
Excellent organisational interpersonal and communication skills.
A collaborative enthusiastic approach and commitment to high standards
