Responsibilities
The Specialist of Business Development Real Estate will help manage pitches and proposals across the Americas. The role is a strategic and relationship-driven collaborator who is detailed-oriented and possesses a broad skillset across several categories: proposal development pipeline tracking and time management with knowledge of the real estate industry.
Project Management
Project manage pursuit/pitch development including development of a workplan to ensure RFP responses are submitted clearly concisely and in compliance with all solicitation requirements.
Organize attend and contribute to preparation meetings with stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure alignment and responsiveness.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal direction to the satisfaction of internal client.
Facilitate debrief session with pursuit team to document lessons learned. Adopt a continuous improvement mindset.
Content Development
Develop content through original writing and the adaptation of pre-formulated content.
Collaborate and assist with composing the executive summary and key themes for major pursuits with the pursuit team.
Help develop and communicate win themes strategies and graphic design approaches.
Branding and Messaging
Drive brand consistency while addressing specific clients needs.
Facilitate the production of relevant and impactful graphics that reinforce key messaging.
Identify new ways to present material to improve pitches and proposals.
Performance Analysis and Industry Insights
Tracks measures and reports on performance metrics (win rate trends and insights).
Stay informed on industry trends and competitive activities using insights to refine strategies for future proposals and client presentations.
Knowledge Management
Maintain a library of pitches/presentations standard marketing collateral materials case studies biographies and knowledge management efforts to aid in client acquisition.
Support the preparation of all deliverables related to the opportunity.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements include:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Business or a related field
- 4 or more years in proposal management content creative writing marketing and/or communications
- Experience in Commercial real estate preferred.
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
- Experience working independently toward goals communicating effectively with colleagues
- Demonstrated expertise in developing new business pitch materials and strategies
- Ability to work with time-sensitive deadlines
- Meticulous attention to detail organization and time management
- Ability to lead multiple high-profile and complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with expertise in PowerPoint
- High degree of energy assertiveness and creativity.
- Ability to produce multiple deliverables quickly while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Data-driven mindset with a focus on performance measurement and delivering measurable business impact.
- Understanding of real estate and investment markets across the Americas.
- Ability to travel up to 5%.
- Compensation: $35/hr - $40/hr will be based on level of experience.
