LOCATION:Richardson Health Center

DIVISION/DEPARTMENT: Communications and Media Relations

SALARY INFORMATION:$15.00 Hourly / Job Code GST120 / Pay Grade / TPW

Job Responsibilities

:Under direct supervision works and communicates with the general public internal customers and/or external customers to provide information and services targeted to meet customer expectations.

TYPICAL TASKS:

Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously; route calls to the appropriate departments or staff.

Provide general information to callers and assist with basic inquiries.
Manage multi-line phone systems and monitor call queues efficiently.
Take detailed messages and ensure timely delivery to the correct recipient.
Greet and assist visitors or clients when applicable.
Maintain accurate call logs and update contact directories as needed.
Handle emergency or priority calls according to established procedures.
Perform basic clerical or administrative support such as data entry filing and email correspondence.
Collaborate with internal staff to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational communication policies.
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED AND Six months of experience handling customers questions complaints and/or providing information.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Fluent in Spanish
