As an IT Supervisor focused on People Management at Thermo Fisher Scientific you will lead and develop a team of IT professionals fostering a culture of excellence innovation and continuous improvement. Your role will be crucial in aligning team performance with organizational goals driving employee engagement and ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services that support our mission.
Education/Experience:
Total experience of 6 years with 0-2 years of experience in leadership and people management preferably in an IT environment.
Bachelors degree in Fields of Study: Computer Science Information Technology Business Administration or related field with a focus on management
Demonstrated experience in team leadership performance management and talent development
Major Job Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals fostering their growth and development
Implement and manage performance evaluation processes setting clear objectives and providing regular feedback
Collaborate with HR to address employee relations issues implement HR policies and ensure compliance
Drive employee engagement initiatives and maintain a positive team culture
Manage resource allocation workforce planning and talent acquisition for the IT team
Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge
Align team goals with organizational objectives and IT strategies
Facilitate effective communication within the team and with other departments
Manage change within the team supporting adaptability and resilience
Ensure adherence to company policies procedures and ethical standards
