Shipping and Receiving Clerk II

• Manages inventory through receipt storage issue and accountability of all equipment material and commodities (i.e. liquor hygiene products cuisine ingredients etc.).
• Maintains books or accounts distributes credits and debits produces reports and collects and records payments.
• Supervises equipment maintenance and management.
• Accounts for all hazardous materials.
• Cleans and organizes storage facilities.
• Updates the computer database with all inventory equipment and costs.
• Develop and maintain the equipment acquisition and replacement plan.
• Conducts annual inventories on all equipment and inventory disposing of old and outdated equipment and inventory.
• Researches and maintains a list of suppliers best pricing availability and ordering.
• Resolves customer/vendor problems in a positive manner.
• Assists in directing personnel and in operating the warehouse management system.
• Responsible for ensuring a safe and enjoyable workplace including participation in initiatives designed to promote a positive work environment.

KNOWLEDGE:

• Knowledge of warehouse procedures and techniques including sorting and stacking.
• Knowledge of Federal State and Local policies and regulations.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills

• Ability to lift to 50 pounds at a sustained rate
• Climbing on an occasional to regular basis
• Lifting/grasping up to 50 pounds without assistance on a regular basis
• Walking on cement floors on an occasional to regular basis
