Job Summary:
Main & Sky is looking for a dependable Hotel Maintenance Engineer. The Hotel Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation maintenance and repair of the hotels facilities equipment and systems. This role plays a key part in providing guests with a safe comfortable and high-quality experience by maintaining the hotels physical assets to brand and safety standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on guest rooms public areas back-of-house spaces and building systems
- Inspect troubleshoot and repair electrical plumbing HVAC and mechanical systems
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment and facilities
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest service calls
- Maintain the propertys tools equipment and maintenance inventory
- Assist in monitoring energy usage and implementing conservation measures
- Ensure compliance with safety health and environmental standards and regulations
- Support special projects renovations and emergency repairs as
- Collaborate with housekeeping front desk and other departments to address maintenance issues efficiently
- Maintain detailed records of work performed parts used and maintenance logs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent ; technical or vocational training in engineering maintenance or a related field preferred
- 2 years of experience in building or facility maintenance preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
- Working knowledge of electrical plumbing HVAC and mechanical systems
- Ability to read blueprints diagrams and equipment manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
- Must be available for on-call shifts evenings weekends and holidays as needed
