Position Overview

Manufacturing Quality Engineer ensures customer satisfaction by meeting expectations in quality certification and responsiveness within the agreed delivery plan. The role focuses on improving quality performance deploying quality indicators across manufacturing and actively supporting continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen product and process reliability.



Key Responsibilities
Ensure deployment and achievement of quality indicators and targets within the manufacturing area.
Lead and monitor actions to achieve targets for PPM RPPM WC and IPPM.
Collaborate proactively with customer quality representatives and residents to resolve issues effectively.
Lead 8D meetings to manage customer claims and internal quality issues through multidisciplinary teamwork.
Maintain customer certifications and support related audits.
Aim to reduce non-quality costs (sorting rework scrap).
Ensure full compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards achieving audits with zero non-conformities.
Maintain LPA/LPOF green status (LPOF score >180).
Contribute to procedure improvements aligned with regional DPM requirements.
Implement and share read-across quality best practices.
Ensure safety and compliance in all manufacturing areas.
Participate in scrap and efficiency improvement plans ensuring serial and prototype delivery targets are met.
Support inventory audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen LIPT Waste Walk Best Practices).
Develop and accredit manufacturing quality technicians and controllers; identify and grow talent within the team.
Promote continuous improvement culture and encourage innovative ideas across the manufacturing area.

Key Skills and Qualifications
Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality role ideally within the automotive sector.
Solid knowledge of IATF 16949 ISO 14001 and core quality tools (8D FMEA SPC PPAP APQP).
Experience driving continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Strong communication analytical and teamwork skills.
Fluent in English and French (spoken and written).
