Purpose of Role

To deliver engaging and effective English lessons aligned with the Cambridge Curriculum for Grades 2 and 3 fostering students reading writing speaking and listening skills while nurturing a love for the language and developing critical thinking and communication abilities.

Teacher English - Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English language lessons (reading writing speaking listening).
• Prepare lesson plans teaching aids and assessments as per curriculum.
• Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
• Support and mentor students with learning gaps or special needs.
• Promote literature and heritage through activities and events.
• Organize and guide students in debates recitations drama and cultural programs.
• Collaborate with teachers coordinators and parents for integrated learning.
• Participate in training workshops and staff meetings for professional growth.
• Maintain student records discipline and adherence to school policies.

Skills Qualifications and Experience

• Masters degree in English
• . or equivalent teaching qualification - Preferred
• Strong conceptual understanding.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to design engaging lesson plans and creative teaching aids.
• Patience empathy and ability to handle diverse learners.
• Collaborative mindset to work with peers coordinators and parents.
• Proficiency in computer skills (MS Office digital tools for teaching).
• Prior teaching experience of 2 to 4 yrs at school level preferred.
