Job Summary

Ventia is seeking an experienced Field Managerto support the delivery of the NBN On Demand Module across commercial and residential projects. You will oversee subcontractor management site audits and field operations ensuring high standards of safety quality and compliance.

Based in ACT Canberra this role offers flexibility with remote work options and minimal travel. We welcome applicants who are open to relocate to apply.

What youll do:

  • Deliver maintenance and customer activation services on the nbn network across the ACT
  • Daily supervision ensuring that technicians have appropriate tools testing equipment and materials & skills to enable the completion of tasks
  • Assist field technicians and provide coaching to improve performance quality and end user customer experience
  • Liaise with the Area Manager & field workforce to ensure all customer complaints are resolved in a timely manner
  • Managing the progress of works at various sites in coordination with project staff to meet client expectations within time constraints budget safety environmental and quality
  • Weekly Quality Audits

To be successful youll need:

  • Supervisory experience in construction ideally within the telecommunications sector (NBN highly desired)
  • Strong time management skills and proven ability to coordinate and manage contractors
  • Excellent communication skills to resolve customer complaints
  • Technologically savvy
