The role of the Spatial Data Manager (SDM) will be responsible for day-to-day functionality of the clients Space Management tool including data integrity of CAD floor plans occupant data and reporting (regular or ad hoc) for a client portfolio or set of buildings.Job Description
PrincipleResponsibilities
- ContributesubjectmatterexpertiseintheareasofspatialdatamanagementCAD/CAFMadministrationspaceandoccupancydataanalyticsandspaceutilizationmeasurement.
- Ensurecomplianceofclientspacedatastandardsestablishaconsistentdatagovernancemodel.
- Providevitallinkagebetweenspacemanagementplatformandindustrybestpractices;introduceinnovationtotheaccountteam/client.
- HoldexpertiseinCAD/CAFMandthemethodologiesandcalculationsusedtogenerateandanalyzeallocationdeliverables.
- Providesupportasnecessarytopeerteamsasitrelatestospaceoccupancyand/orutilizationdata.
- Contributetodatagovernanceprocess-controlofinputsourcesanddataconsistency
- Contributetodataconfidence-controlofdatameasurementstandardsandKPIs
- Establishcoreprogramstandardsforglobalspacenamingconventionsallocationmodelapplicationdrawingstandardsandreportingstandards
- Establishworkingrelationshipsandguidesthedevelopmentofrolesandresponsibilitieswithpartners
- Establishgovernanceprogram/processanddataqualityassurancereportingforglobalconsistencyofportfoliospaceandoccupancydata
- Proactivelymonitortheexecutionoftheclientspaceallocationmodelanddeliveryofreportinginaccordancewithclientspaceallocationprocess
- ServesasSPOCandglobalsystemadministratorforclientspacedatamanagementsystemenforcingusercontrolsandsystemcontinuity
- EnableallsystemintegrationeffortswiththeCAFMsystemtofurtherenhancetheavailabilityandqualityofspatialandoccupancydata
- Recommendprocessimprovementsandperformanceenhancementsintheuseoftheclientspacedatamanagementsystem
- Providesspacedatamanagementsystemtrainingforsystemusers
- Responsibleforguidingandreviewingrecommendationstoenhanceoperationalefficiencyservicedeliverycostsavingsandinnovativeserviceadvancementsforallfunctionalareas
- CoachthespaceteamleadershipineffectivespaceplanningandFF&Esolutiondevelopmentensuringcompliancewithestablishedprocessworkflowsandconsistentservicedeliveryforallprojecttypes
Requirements
- BA/BSdegreeorequivalentcombinationofeducationtrainingandexperienceinArchitecturalTechnologySpacePlanningSpaceDataManagementDataAnalyticsorOccupancyPlanning
- FourtoEightyearsexperienceinacorporaterealestateenvironment.
- Demonstratesproficiencyinarchitecturalandengineeringdrawingsconcepts&design
- ProficientinMSOfficeSuitesoftwareapplications
- Excellentcustomerserviceandinterpersonalrelationshipskills
- Abilitytoworkindependentlyandaspartofateam
- Abletobuildstrongrelationshipswithinternalandexternalpartnerstodelivereffectiveservices
- Strongoralwrittenandpresentationskills
- Assumesownershipofrequestsinordertoensuresuccessfulcompletion
- Strongattentiontodetailandqualitywithabilitytohandleconcurrentprojectswithminimalsupervisionanddirection

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
