Missile Defense Systems AnalystEngineer – Architecture and Assessment

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Missile Defense Systems Analyst Architecture and Assessmentto support ourFort Belvoir VA location.

PeopleTec is seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst / Engineer to support next-generation missile defense architecture analysis and system-of-systems assessments. The successful candidate will contribute to the evaluation of architecture concepts sensor and interceptor performance and command-and-control (C2) options using advanced modeling and simulation tools including GTRI Benchmark model and/or AFSIM.

Duties:

• Perform architecture trade studies system performance assessments and capability gap analyses for missile defense systems and future integrated architectures.
• Utilize Benchmark model to simulate ballistic and hypersonic threat engagements and evaluate system performance across multiple mission threads.
• Develop and execute analysis scripts and data post-processing routines using MATLAB and other analytical tools.
• Integrate modeling and simulation results from AFSIM Benchmark or other environments to inform architecture design decisions.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in systems engineering or MBSE (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Proven experience in systems engineering supporting missile defense or other complex defense systems.
• Expertise with GTRI Benchmark OR AFSIM modeling environments.
• Strong understanding of MDA system architectures and experience performing analysis to assess potential performance.
• Excellent analytical documentation and communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance upon hire and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Systems Engineering or related technical field; Masters degree preferred.
