Job Summary

Do you want to join a global fund manager in energy infrastructure investments If so Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is currently looking for a Vice President to join our Co-investment team based in Copenhagen.

Team

As Vice President in our Co-investment team you will work closely with both the Investor Relations team and the Flagship Funds investment teams in Europe the United States and Asia working across technologies and geographies. This teamis responsible for the execution of co-investments and direct investments with some of our largest and most strategic investors.

Role

As a Vice President in Co-investment you will be an integral part of the CIP Co-investment programme and be part of wider capital formation activities including bringing partners/co-investors together to support transactions. You will be leading co-investments with some of our largest and strategic investors. You will be an important member of an international and diverse team. You will help to train juniors in co-investment best practices process and will contribute to the positive professional and collegiate working environment.

Responsibilities will consistof butare not limited to:

  • Deal lead on co-investment processes including project management coordinating commercial legal and tax workstreams
  • Preparing and providing updates internally to our investment committees and to investors on a regular basis
  • Support in further enhancing co-investment processes and set-up
  • Play a key role in helping to develop and manage long-term relationships with CIPs global investor base comprising large pension funds sovereign wealth funds and insurance companies more specifically to understand their needs and support their portfolio construction objectives

You

We are looking for a motivated individual holding a relevant degree in finance/economics and a minimum of 10 years of full-time experience in investment banking private infrastructure or private equity. The individual should have proficient modelling skills have experience leading and project managing relevant transactions and be a skilled communicator.
