About the position
The Senior Grants Advisor will lead the development submission and administration processes for Category 1 grant schemes. They will be a subject matter expert on category 1 schemes especially NHMRC schemes. They will provide expertise and guidance to other members of the grants team and will be instrumental in maintaining and developing close working relationships with Associate Deans Research and Industry Engagement (ADRIE).
They will work with ADRIEs across all Schools to effectively identify and engage researchers who are eligible to apply for Category 1 grants in the Universitys Grants Development Support Program. They will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective support program for category 1 grants that includes fellowships from across government philanthropic and Industry and lead the grants team through compliance and eligibility for all schemes.
