Schedule: 2 days per week 11:00 PM 8:00 AM (7.5-hour shifts)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours per Week: 15
Pay Rate: $65 $70 per hour
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging procedures. The technologist will ensure image quality patient safety and compliance with all departmental standards and protocols.
Responsibilities
Perform MRI scans and ensure diagnostic-quality images.
Position patients properly and explain procedures clearly.
Verify safety checklists before scanning.
Label review and transmit images accurately to PACS.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of MRI suite and equipment.
Record patient information and schedule exams in the system.
Report equipment issues and assist physicians as needed.
Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
Required:
Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T.-approved Radiologic Technology program.
NY State License in Diagnostic Radiology.
A.R.R.T. MRI certification.
BCLS certification.
Solid knowledge of MRI physics anatomy and safety standards.
Preferred:
2 years of MRI experience in a clinical environment.
