Summary: ATS is seeking a ResidentAPI 510/653 Inspector in Macon GA.This is a full-time position working an average of 40 hours per week (5-8/hr days) with an opportunity for overtime. Relocation assistance/incentive available. Some per diem available.

Responsibilities:

• Performs field inspections of tanks pressure vessels and piping for compliance with standards and regulations and ensures quality control and compliance.
• Generate written reports utilizing MS Word and MS Excel.
• Manage client relationships work with inspectors effectively communicate work progress/status with client.
• Industrial inspection operations and maintenance experience.
• Process improvement experience.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work unsupervised.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to write reports detailing assessments and results
• Proficient inMicrosoft Office Suite: Word Excel Power-pointAutoCAD
• Ability to multi-task and work in a growing environment
• Provides recommendations for repairs and alterations to tanks pressure vessels piping and other components.
• Plant engineering or steel fabrication experience.
• Industrial inspection operations and maintenance experience.
• Process improvement experience.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work unsupervised.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to write reports detailing assessments and results

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in Mechanical Integrity in pulp and paper industry.
• API certs: API-510 & API- 653.
• AutoCAD and/or Compress experience preferred.
• High School Diploma Bachelors Degree in related field preferred.

Work Conditions:

• Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
• Work from heights on scaffolding ladders elevated platforms man-baskets etc.
• Work in confined spaces which will require crawling stooping climbing etc.
• Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments.
• Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners penetrants film developing chemicals etc.
• Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week and travel for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
