Job Summary

SGL CARBON Far East Ltd. Shanghai is a company solely funded by SGL Carbon in Shanghai Comprehensive Industrial Development Zone. The company established in April 2003 provides high-quality graphite materials products and composites to semiconductor industry automotive and mechanical industry high-temperature industry other industrial applications such as mold making and non-ferrous metal. The special graphite products of SGL Carbon include isostatic graphite extruded and vibrated graphite (including high purity-graphite with ash content below 5ppm) C/C composite materials flexible graphite foil and graphite felt.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Maintaining the local Quality Assurance / Engineering.
2. Coordinating and optimizing the testing work steps in Incoming Inspection during Production and in Final Inspection regarding product quality testing results and testing efforts
3. Organizing structuring and analyzing material and product related data from the ongoing production to reduce quality problems
4. Supporting and analyzing internal and external System and Process Audits as well as Supplier and Customer Audits; following-up audit measures and verifying the effectiveness
5. Supporting process efficiency improvements by introducing and maintaining LEAN principles in operational and administrational processes; providing trainings in Quality Assurance / Engineering as well as improvement methodologies
6. Coordinating customer complaint customer audit and customer related requirements.
7. Is responsible for supplier and customer complaints regarding quality packaging and transport issues by coordinating all actions related to the complaints until closing.
8. Supporting new suppliers selection approval and supplier evaluation with procurement team.
9. Other tasks according to business development.

Main Requirements:
1. Bachelor Degree / Technician with respective additional qualification in Quality Assurance / Engineering
2. Minimum 1 to 3 years experience in Quality Assurance; experiences with ISO 9001.
3. Quality and Testing Methods MSA APQP PPAP.
4. Minimum 1 years experience in process industry.
5. Knowledge and experience with graphite and machined parts.
6. Optional: Experiences in Six Sigma Lean Management etc.
7. Optional: Laboratory experiences (material lab measurement lab).
8. Strong communication skill.
9. Proficient in English language.
