We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic CyberRecovery Operations Engineer.

The CR Service Operations Engineer is responsible for maintaining and operating secure regulated and air-gapped infrastructure environments. This role focuses on automation observability and operational excellence across backup monitoring and network security domains. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure service continuity infrastructure integrity and compliance with internal standards.

To succed in the role you should have

• Proven experience in Linux and Windows system administration
• Strong proficiency in automation using Ansible and Python including playbook development and integration with operational workflows
• Solid understanding of observability and monitoring with hands-on experience in Prometheus Grafana and OpenTelemetry
• Ability to consume and integrate REST APIs for orchestration data extraction and automation
• Familiarity with network security operations including configuration and troubleshooting of Palo Alto firewalls
• Understanding of backup lifecycle including retention integrity validation and recovery coordination
• Fluent in English with strong documentation and remote collaboration skills

Nice to have

• Experience coordinating hardware lifecycle events (installation upgrades decommissioning)
• Familiarity with identity and access management (Active Directory PKI certificate lifecycle)
• Exposure to storage systems (block object or database-level) and backup workflows
• Knowledge of Oracle Exadata and Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance (ZDLRA) platforms especially in relation to backup and recovery operations
• Experience operating in air-gapped or highly regulated environments including patching configuration and recovery exercises
• Experience with Ansible AWX
• Experience with operational reporting workflows
• Familiarity with disconnected WSUS environments
• Ability to contribute to operational playbooks
• Agile mindset and experience working in cross-functional teams
