Job Summary

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Childrens Registered Manager to lead and manage a 3-bed home supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and/or Learning Disabilities (LD).
As the Registered Manager you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of care compliance with regulations and creating a safe nurturing environment where young people can thrive.

Location: Slough
Salary:per annum (DOE)
Bonus: 3000 Signing Bonus Competitive Benefits Package
Home Type: 3-Bed Childrens Residential Home (EBD/LD)

Tasks

Lead the operational management of the childrens home in line with Ofsted and Childrens Homes Regulations 2015.
Promote a positive safe and supportive culture for both staff and young people.
Ensure all care planning and safeguarding procedures are adhered to and regularly reviewed.
Manage budgets staffing and resources effectively.
Recruit train and develop staff ensuring a high-performing and motivated team.
Build strong relationships with local authorities social workers and external partners.
Drive continuous improvement and ensure the home maintains a minimum Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating.

Requirements

Qualifications

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
Evidence of ongoing professional development.

Experience

Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Assistant Manager within a large or multi-home service.
Strong background in supporting children and young people with EBD and/or LD.
Excellent knowledge of Childrens Homes Regulations 2015 and SCCIF frameworks.
Experience managing budgets and allocating resources.
Demonstrated resilience and ability to manage emotionally challenging situations.

Additional Requirements

Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate.
Copy of passport.
If not a British citizen valid Share Code and proof of Right to Work in the UK.
