About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Childrens Registered Manager to lead and manage a 3-bed home supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and/or Learning Disabilities (LD).
As the Registered Manager you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of care compliance with regulations and creating a safe nurturing environment where young people can thrive.
Location: Slough
Salary:per annum (DOE)
Bonus: 3000 Signing Bonus Competitive Benefits Package
Home Type: 3-Bed Childrens Residential Home (EBD/LD)
Tasks
- Lead the operational management of the childrens home in line with Ofsted and Childrens Homes Regulations 2015.
- Promote a positive safe and supportive culture for both staff and young people.
- Ensure all care planning and safeguarding procedures are adhered to and regularly reviewed.
- Manage budgets staffing and resources effectively.
- Recruit train and develop staff ensuring a high-performing and motivated team.
- Build strong relationships with local authorities social workers and external partners.
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure the home maintains a minimum Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Assistant Manager within a large or multi-home service.
- Strong background in supporting children and young people with EBD and/or LD.
- Excellent knowledge of Childrens Homes Regulations 2015 and SCCIF frameworks.
- Experience managing budgets and allocating resources.
- Demonstrated resilience and ability to manage emotionally challenging situations.

- Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate.
- Copy of passport.
- If not a British citizen valid Share Code and proof of Right to Work in the UK.
