About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Team Manager to join our dedicated on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate qualified social worker who is committed to supporting children in care helping them achieve stability and securing long-term positive outcomes.

Contract Type: Full-Time
Pre-AWR Pay Rate: 32.12 per hour
Post-AWR Pay Rate: 32.12 per hour
Tasks
Provide supervision guidance and appraisals to social workers and family workers.
Offer oversight and support for complex casework and care planning decisions.
Chair meetings and contribute to decision-making that promotes the best outcomes for children.
Lead by example supporting practice development and mentoring colleagues.
Maintain a strong focus on achieving permanence and stability for children in care.
Work collaboratively with fostering services commissioning teams the Virtual School and the Children in Care Health Team to ensure holistic support for every child.
Requirements
Enhanced Adults DBS (can be obtained if not already held).
Eligibility to work in the UK.
Social Work England (SWE/HCPC) registration.
Relevant social work degree or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience within the UK in childrens social care.
Access to a car and willingness to travel as required.
