HISTO TECH75 MILE RADIUS RULEWill take locals reduced rate will apply80 hours per pay periodMonday to Friday8 hour shifts VARYINGMust gave GROSSING experienceBachelors degree in Science PREFERRED NOT REQUIREDWould like someone who at least has grossed biopsies and has lots of experience with IHC performance on the Leica BOND MAXCurrent NYS license as Clinical Laboratory Technologist CLT Medical Technologist MT or Histotechnologist HTL1 plus years grossing experience REQUIREDResponsible for the accurate gross description dissection and processing of all biopsies routine and moderate complexity tissue specimens according to established protocols under the direct supervision of the Pathologist andor Pathology Supervisor. Participates in limited technical activities of the Pathology department when needed such as accessioning staining cover slipping routine maintenance and cytology specimen preparation
