Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provides support to end users on a variety of issues.
  • Identifies researches and resolves technical problems.
  • Responds to telephone calls email and personnel requests for technical support.
  • Tracks and monitors the problem to insure a timely resolution.
  • May require an associates degree in a related area and 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts practices and procedures within a particular field.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Works under immediate supervision.
  • Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
  • Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
  • Candidate will possess working knowledge of PC and mobile hardware architecture as required to assemble a mobile or desktop system from components and update components in already existing systems.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems with emphasis on Windows XP as required to install the OS on a new computer update the OS as required by patches or changes in the hardware configuration troubleshoot functional and performance problems.
  • Preferred working knowledge and experience with hardware and software testing/validation.
