The Building Maintenance Coordinator/Technician is an integral part of Honor Operations team reporting directly to the Chief of Community Services. This role plays a crucial role in positioning our health center as a leader in progressive healthcare systems. The main objective of this position is to create an optimum environment for both our patients and staff ensuring the delivery of exceptional and cutting-edge integrated healthcare. The Maintenance Coordinator/Technician will be responsible for overseeing facility administration and operations maintenance space planning utilization as well as project management support.
What are we looking for - High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training or certification preferred.
- At least 5 years of previous experience in general maintenance and repair work preferably in a healthcare or medical facility
- Basic working knowledge of electrical plumbing carpentry and HVAC system including operating and maintaining common hand and power tools required. Intermediate knowledge preferred
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects climb ladders and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity required
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with staff vendors and regulatory agencies demonstrating a strong commitment to customer service. Strong communication skills.
- Ability to read manuals and work orders.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
