- Perform routine and advanced PET/CT imaging procedures according to established protocols.
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic images with minimal supervision or need for repeat scans.
- Screen patients for precautions or contraindications before procedures.
- Explain and prepare patients for PET/CT scans including positioning and providing support throughout the process.
- Adjust and optimize scan parameters applying dose-reduction techniques as appropriate.
- Remain self-motivated to continually increase knowledge of PET/CT technology disease processes and evolving procedures.
- Complete other assigned duties as needed.
- Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- Maintain all required certifications and licensure (Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology NMTCB or ARRT certification NJ State licensure BLS/CPR).
- Demonstrate strong patient care and communication skills and ability to work independently.
