This position involves travel 50% of the time throughout the State of NJ. Candidate must have own vehicle and will be reimbursed for mileage.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Architect deploy and optimize SolarWinds modules (NPM SAM NTA DPA) and LogicMonitor platforms across transit systems.

• Develop custom dashboards alerts and reports aligned with operational KPIs and SLA thresholds using both SolarWinds and LogicMonitor.

• Integrate SolarWinds with cloud platforms enterprise systems and third-party tools for unified observability.

• Partner with application owners to provide out-of-the-box and custom monitoring.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity cloud and operations teams to ensure resilient monitoring coverage.

• Maintain and enhance monitoring for infrastructure operations.

• Document architecture workflows and escalation protocols for internal and vendor stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on experience with SolarWinds in enterprise or public sector environments.

• 3 years of experience deploying and managing LogicMonitor in hybrid or cloud environments.

• Strong command of SNMP WMI NetFlow and database polling techniques.

• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell Python) for automation and custom integrations.

• Experience with hybrid environments (on-prem/cloud) especially Azure or AWS.

• Familiarity with database queries for custom database monitoring.

• Familiarity with ITIL practices and incident response workflows.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrable experience in critical infrastructure domains.

• SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP) or equivalent certifications.

• LogicMonitor Certified Associate or Professional is a plus.

• Experience with Orion SDK and API-based data extraction.
