We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Draughtsman to join our engineering and design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate electrical drawings and documentation to support project design installation and commissioning.

Duties & Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Draughtsman to join our engineering and design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate electrical drawings and documentation to support project design installation and commissioning.
You will work closely with electrical design engineers and project managers to ensure all drawings meet technical safety and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed electrical drawings schematics wiring diagrams and panel layouts using CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD Electrical EPLAN or similar).
Update and maintain as-built drawings and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Interpret and convert engineering sketches specifications and design concepts into precise technical drawings.
Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards regulations and company quality procedures.
Coordinate with engineers site teams and suppliers to clarify design details.
Maintain drawing registers revision control and documentation archives.
Provide technical support during manufacturing installation and commissioning stages when required.

Requirements

Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Proven experience as an Electrical Draughtsman or CAD Technician.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or similar design software.
Strong understanding of electrical systems symbols and wiring conventions.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
