Job Summary
Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with Scrub Theatre training to join a busy surgical department. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring safe efficient and quality perioperative nursing care in line with hospital protocols.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in General Nursing
Post Basic qualification in Operating Theatre Nursing (essential)
Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum of 2 years experience in Scrub Theatre nursing
Computer literate and familiar with surgical instrumentation and protocols
Private hospital experience advantageous
Strong teamwork organisational and time management skills
