KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Anticipate members and guests needs and exceed customer service expectations during events
• Knowledge of menu items ingredients and preparations
• Carry a full tray of food and/or beverages.
• Set up and break down for service and special events.
• Prepare tables by setting up linens silverware etc.
• Carry dirty plates glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
• Follow proper food handling procedures per Riverside County Food Handler Cert.
• Report to work as scheduled in uniform clocked in and ready to be in position.
• Follow Club policies and standard operating procedures.
• Communicate with F&B management to ensure member satisfaction.
• Demonstrate sense of urgency for responding to members needs during all interactions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Check customers IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous serving experience in a full-service environment preferably at a fast paced high-end restaurant club or resort.
• Current Riverside County Food Handler Card.
• General competency with point-of-sale system Jonas experience preferred but not required.
• Attentiveness and patience for customers
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with members guests and coworkers.
• Must be outgoing friendly courteous and patient.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform policies.
• Must be familiar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to remain on feet standing and walking for long periods of time up to 8 hours. As well as sit squat reach bend stoop twist and wipe.
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 25 - 30 lbs.
• Physical activities include walking talking standing stooping hearing seeing talking bending reaching fingering feeling touching writing grasping handling stretching balancing pushing pulling and wiping.
• Interaction with all types of people
• Considerable repetitive motion of hands wrists shoulders and back is required.
• Must be able to work outdoors exposure to various weather conditions such as heat cold wind and rain.
• Works days nights holidays and/or weekends as required.
• Work in a noisy fast paced environment with distraction conditions.
• Read and write handwritten notes.
