Project Manager MOD
Your main responsibilities
- Project Management - Oversee modernization projects to ensure efficient
profitable close-out. Provide approved submittals and ensure timely delivery
of materials from vendors. Collaborate with the Field Superintendents to
monitor job progress and address potential delays with action plans. Partner
with Engineering and local & regional management for successful
completion of the project. Maintain vendor relationships and assist with
monthly forecasting and budget planning. Identify change notice
opportunities prepare paperwork and secure customer approvals before
work begins.
2. Financial Ownership - Manage project revenue size and adherence to
fulfillment guidelines. Ensure timely invoicing targeting 90% payment prior
to elevator turnover.
3. Customer Relationship Management - 20% - Establish and maintain
critical customer relationships to support project success; Quality & Safety
Compliance - 10% - Ensure compliance with customer and Schindler
This role will be supportingAtlanta New OrleansandNashvilleso the candidate must be willing to travel and the position can be based in any of the offices in the Southeast Territory based on the projects that they will manage.
What you bring
- Bachelors Degree: Major: Engineering
Architecture Construction Management Project
Management or Finance with at least 5 years of
proven project management experience; 3-7 years
experience leading projects and coordinating
resources - Excellent written and verbal
communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
especially Excel - Experience in elevator or related
building systems industry - Familiarity with SAP Lotus Notes and
project management software likeProcore - Ability to read schematics and blueprints Required
- Strong financial acumen
