Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shop Technician to join our team. The Shop Technician must be a safety-conscious hardworking individual. Under the direction of a supervisor this position will be responsible for various tasks including but not limited to the delivery of products/tools to the location the refurbishment process of customer-owned inventory managing new inventory loading and unloading materials and maintaining a clean/organized work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Refurbish inventory:Ensure customer-owned inventory is refurbished to the highest standards meeting production goals and company guidelines.
- Assemble products:Assemble products using various tools and supplies ensuring they meet design specifications.
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace:Follow safety protocols keep the shop clean and properly maintain equipment.
- Handle inventory:Safely operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials manage inventory and load/unload shipments.
- Support operations:Assist with product deliveries and other tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School degree or equivalent is required
- Previous assembly experience preferred
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience operating a forklift or willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to bend and lift in excess of 50 pounds
- Must have reliable transportation
- General computer skills are necessary
