We are looking for a D&D Engineering Intern for Summer 2026!Please note this position is fully in-person in Buffalo NY and housing is not provided.
Job Summary
The mission of this internship program is to provide an opportunity to investigate a career opportunity in engineering by applying knowledge learned in their course of study. They will work together with a team of engineers in a real-world manufacturing environment and support various activities. They may include product testing data entry writing technical documents participating in design control meetings and assisting the engineering team. Works under general supervision of Director of Engineering or Lead Engineer on multiple assignments of small to moderate scope and complexity.
Essential Job Functions
Follow Employee guidelines and Quality System Regulations as defined by Nissha Medical Technologies practices policies and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that customer requirements and industry standards and or regulations are met.
Demonstrates knowledge and acts in accordance with NMTs Employee Guidelines and applicable quality standards as outlined in NMTs Quality Manual.
Participates on various project teams and in team meetings as required.
May assist in the product design by developing CAD models of components or assemblies creating drawings in a document control environment under the guidance of Engineering.
May support engineering prototype/qualification builds performing and documenting product evaluations and testing and participating in design control activities
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education: Active student pursuing a degree in an Engineering discipline
Working knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Word Excel Outlook) (required)
Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks AutoCAD (preferred)
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Communication skills specifically the ability to convey technical information effectively
Ability to perform all assigned tasks work independently and complete work on schedule.
Follow directions while displaying cooperative and positive behavior with co-workers.
Strong problem-solving skills
Pay Range:$16.00 - $22.00 per hour
