Job Summary: The Member Services and Facilities Attendant is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Tahoe Mountain Club facilities ensuring guest satisfaction facility upkeep and compliance with club standards and safety policies. This position delivers excellent member service assists with club activities and events and maintains a welcoming safe and clean environment for all members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and address members and guests by name when possible ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at all times.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of recreation facilities including fitness centers pool decks locker rooms and common areas using daily checklists.
- Perform minor custodial duties such as wiping down equipment picking up discarded items and ensuring all areas meet club standards of excellence.
- Organize and clean pool decks and locker room including power washing surfaces as needed to maintain hygiene standards.
- Manage pool towel laundry including collecting washing drying folding and restocking towels in designated areas.
- Assist with dishwashing duties and related duties as needed to support Food & Beverage and Events Operations.
- Participate in staff meetings and trainings to maintain high standards of hospitality and teamwork.
- Assist with facility opening and closing procedures to maintain quality control and readiness for operations.
- Respond promptly and professionally to member and guest inquiries requests and complaints providing cross-departmental solutions as needed.
- Support event setup and breakdown including lifting and moving equipment and supplies as required.
- Report and immediately act on safety concerns incorporating safe work practices in all job duties.
- Maintain a neat clean and business-like appearance at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Dynamic enthusiastic and guest-focused individual.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Ability to evenings weekends and holidays as required.
PHYSICAL MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to maneuver safely across all club facilities.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must follow and comply with Club Safety Policies.
Because of the fluctuating demands of the Clubs operation it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different functions; therefore as an essential part of your job you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises just as other employees are expected to help you. Accordingly you may be expected to perform other tasks not specifically addressed above.

Qualifications
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Experience in hospitality recreation or related fields preferred. Must have outstanding guest interaction skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Language/Communication: Ability to read and speak English is required to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English). Must be able to work as part of a team and maintain open communication with managers and fellow coworkers. Must be able to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests or members in a professional manner. Must display professional demeanor and communicate respectfully at all times.
Certificates/Licenses/Safety Training: Harassment Prevention Training for Employees Bloodborne Pathogens CPR Certified

- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to respond to guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
