RUCKUS Networks is hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer who will work closely with our team in Taipei!

How Youll Help Us Connect the World

We build and maintain backend services for Ruckus SmartZone and Ruckus One supporting global-scale network management systems.

Our work involves distributed system design network Management System integration and cloud automation service development.

If you enjoy working on scalable architectures and cloud service platforms youll find this role both challenging and rewarding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop backend services and APIs using Golang.
• Maintain and extend system integrations with SmartZone / Ruckus One.
• Design and implement reliable distributed components (Kafka / NATS / Redis).
• Apply TDD to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Contribute to CI/CD improvements and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Frontend QA Infra).

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• 6 years of backend development experience proficient in Golang.
• Familiar with Redis Kafka or NATS.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deploying/debugging services or pods).
• Understanding of CI/CD workflows and automation concepts.
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD).
• Intermediate English proficiency able to read technical documents and join English meetings.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

• Experience in Network Management System or system integration projects.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL Java or C.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Cursor Claude Code Copilot).
• Personal side projects or open-source contributions.
