Lead the strategic evolution of our Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform and image workflows driving efficiency and innovation across a vast retail and e-commerce operation. Based at Head Office in Enderby Leicestershire with a starting salary of 52176 plus management share options car/allowance bonus and more.

About the Role:
You will lead the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of the Digital Asset Management platform overseeing the image workflow from studio photography location photography and brand marketing campaign shoots along with asset shares from our brand partners (fashion still life model and interior) through to delivery to downstream e-commerce.

A key focus will be implementing new initiatives to enhance the speed and efficiency of these workflows across our core brand and partner brands. You will champion the adoption of AI and automation tools to streamline asset ingestion tagging delivery and reporting while ensuring strict adherence to evolving metadata standards taxonomy and governance to maximise asset reusability and discoverability.

In this leadership role you will line-manage two team leads fostering an environment of accountability innovation and continuous learning. You are responsible for coaching your team in DAM workflow optimisation and automation while engaging with industry insights to deliver future-proof efficiencies. Crucially you will collaborate extensively with the wider Studio Team and senior management and cross functional teams while considering the future integration of offshore working methods for development.

Beyond workflow optimisation you will be the core link between Studio Creative IT Marketing and E-commerce teams to integrate digital asset workflows seamlessly into the wider business. You will manage the budget for your team and all image tools/licenses.

Furthermore you will plan and deliver key projects on time and on budget ensuring project alignment and clear communication with all senior stakeholders. You will also maintain and improve operational data sources understanding the need to enable reporting and analytics via tools like Tableau Power BI and Data Bricks to provide actionable insight and support strategic decisions.

About You:

  • Proven leadership experience within a digital image services DAM or studio operations environment preferably within retail or e-commerce.
  • Strong knowledge of Digital Asset Management systems AI automation and workflow optimisation.
  • Experience managing metadata taxonomy and governance for large-scale image asset libraries.
  • Advanced analytical skills including the ability to design dashboards reports and KPIs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence senior and director-level individuals.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to effectively prioritise competing demands.
  • Technical familiarity with tools such as Adobe Photoshop Capture One Pro and an awareness of relevant reporting and analytics tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI).
  • A working knowledge of image/video formats and production processes
