Rolls-Royce has an exciting secondment opportunity working as an Engineering Safety Lead for the Submarines Production Alliance. The team will be based in Derby but will require travel for 1 week per month.

The successful candidate will be embedded into the Platform Team working directly for the Engineering Governance Manager.

What you will be doing

• Manage Safety Management Plan (update and continued alignment to)
• Manage Design Basis work (if required from Aug 25 onwards)
• Manage Cat and Class development (using DEFSTAN 02-207)
• Either (depending on priority when they start); manage Stakeholder Management Plan creation and subsequent management or Management of Defence in Depth development and implementation.
• Management of 1PA (and as part of this support GEAR)

For more than 60 years Rolls-Royce Submarines has designed supplied and supported the nuclear propulsion plant providing power for all UK Royal Navy nuclear submarines.
