What You Will Do

The Aftermarket Systems Engineering team is looking for an Aftermarket Analytics Engineer II who will focus on creating engineering-enabled digital tools on the Fleetwise platform to be used in optimizing workflows and support decision making across the Engine Design & Systems Integration and CE Aftermarket organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of digital tools & analytics for fleet health investigations and engine work scoping
  • Enabling the automation of engineering processes that feed the Next Generation Interval Cost Estimator (NGICE) tool
  • Engage in process changes through CORE and the leadership operating model

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Masters degree in a Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field and 0 years experience required
  • Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Masters degree in Data Science AI or Computer Science
  • Experience in Python
  • Experience in SQL
  • Experience working in an Agile framework
  • Experience with cloud computing (AWS preferred)
  • Experience collaborating with a team to develop innovative ideas
  • Experience communicating clear and effective messages to a broad audience
  • Experience with respect to other engine systems including mechanical vibration dynamics externals and controls.

The Engine Design & System Integration (EDSI) Commercial Engines (CE) and Military Engines (ME) organizations are focused on delivering systems solutions to meet customer requirements driving engineering quality and productivity and developing the next generation if systems engineers. EDSI is responsible for the integration of components modules and sub-systems into world class commercial and military propulsion systems.

This position is classified as onsite. Please ensure this role type (defined below) is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 66000 USD - 130000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
