Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking a Systems Engineering ScientistChief Systems Engineer to join our Greenville TX team. This position is responsible for providing technical leadership to the systems engineering team to drive the program to completion. Responsible for issue investigation and resolution. Responsible for adhering to and improving existing processes for tracking program/project progress to completion.

Essential Functions:

Lead technical point of contact on the program for systems engineering.
Responsible for managing and overseeing the systems engineering effort required to satisfy the requirements for the aircraft mission system and ground station.
Satisfy the program requirements through the development integration test and delivery phases.
Recognized as an expert and thought leader with broad experience across multiple job areas.
Ability to communicate within and outside the organization to influence leadership to accept new practices approaches and concepts.
Works under consultative direction against program goals to manage complex project initiatives.
Develops or champions new systems concepts or technologies.
Experience with JIRA/Confluence and the Agile process.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree with 12 years of Systems Architect Chief Systems Chief Technical Engineer or Project/Program Management experience with strong Systems background.
Graduate Degree with 10 years of Systems Architect Chief Systems Chief Technical Engineer or Project/Program Management experience with strong Systems background.
In lieu of a degree a minimum 16 years of Systems Architect Chief Systems Chief Technical Engineer or Project/Program Management experience with strong Systems background.
Must have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret with SCI.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Active Top Secret with SCI.
