Overview
Join our innovative Rehab Without Walls Level 11 Outpatient Clinic at 5815 Bay Road Suite 400 Saginaw MI and deliver impactful 1:1 patient care in flexible PRN sessions. Help adults with neurological injuries achieve their rehabilitation goals while working with a collaborative interdisciplinary team of skilled therapists.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver 60-minute functional rehabilitation sessions focused on patient-centered recovery.
- Regularly reassess treatment effectiveness and participate in team meetings and family conferences.
- Complete discharge evaluations recommend safety strategies and provide referrals and educational resources for home and community reintegration.
- Communicate progress and needs to the treatment team physicians patients and families.
- Collaborate closely with other therapy professionals to coordinate care and optimize outcomes.
Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active Speech Language Pathology license in Michigan.
- Current CPR certification as required by state regulations.
- Preferred experience in rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injury.
- Ability to move life or transfer patients up to 100 pounds safely.
- Strong fine motor skills visual acuity and capacity for extended standing and walking.
- Physical ability for frequent pushing pulling bending stooping reaching kneeling and positioning.
