About the Role:

As Maintenance and Property Team Leader youll play a vital part in maintaining the high standards that make BaptistCare communities exceptional. From buildings and gardens to equipment and safety compliance youll ensure everything works seamlessly so our residents can focus on living their best lives.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and perform maintenance activitiesreactive and preventativeto meet compliance and quality standards. (This is a hands on role ).
• Lead train and support a small team of maintenance professionals.
• Work closely with Site Managers and the Area Manager to minimize disruptions.
• Manage assets vehicles and equipment with care and efficiency.
• Champion sustainability initiatives and ensure contractor compliance.
• Uphold safety and audit standards including WHS

About you:

• Trade Certificate in a relevant field and trade experience preferred.
• Hands-on maintenance skills.
• Skilled in managing maintenance systems budgets and teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and operational processes.
• Knowledge of statutory regulations and compliance requirements
• Valid drivers license and willingness to complete Fire Safety Officer training.
• Experience in aged care retirement living or healthcare environments is highly regarded.
