Centurion is proud to be the provider ofcomprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a Full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our teamat Western Illinois Correctional Center in Mount Sterling Illinois.Centurion Health contracts with state and local governments nationwide to provide comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities state hospitals and other community settings. CNAs work under the close direction of nursing medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Assist patients by supporting personal hygiene daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.

Pay Rate: $22/hr

Shift: Evenings 3p-11p (58hr shifts)

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent
CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required
CNA licensure in Maryland required
Training experience or certification as a nurses aide medical technician or mental health worker preferred
One year of experience in acute care long-term care emergency or correctional setting preferred
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
