We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics and Inventory Assistant to join our team. This vital role ensures the smooth scheduling and routing of field technicians facilitating efficient operations and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be organized bilingual (English and Spanish) and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position is based in the office with no remote work options and offers a structured schedule to support our operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming paperwork and work requests promptly
- Create and assign dispatches for field technicians based on operational needs
- Schedule and optimize routes for technicians to ensure timely service delivery
- Make customer scheduling calls in both English and Spanish to fill open slots and confirm appointments
- Ensure all scheduling details are accurate and communicated effectively
- Support logistical field resource coordination and communication
- Process daily and weekly work requests maintaining organized records
- Collaborate with team members to improve scheduling efficiency and service quality
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish with excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in logistics dispatching or scheduling preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and scheduling software
- Ability to work scheduled hours between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm Monday through Saturday
- Flexibility to work Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm during training period
- Customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
