As a CVOR Surgical Technologist you will play a crucial role in assisting surgical teams during cardiovascular procedures. You will work closely with surgeons nurses and other medical staff to ensure that the operating room is prepared for surgery and that all necessary instruments and supplies are available. This position is vital in contributing to our mission of delivering quality healthcare staffing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room for cardiovascular surgeries
- Assist in the selection and management of surgical instruments
- Ensure a sterile environment during procedures
- Support the surgical team with essential tasks during surgery
- Monitor patient safety and comfort
- Maintain and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Document surgical procedures and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow and efficiency
Requirements
Must a Certified Surgical Tech through the National Board of Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). Please include candidate CST# and expiration date.
Must have at least one year to date of CVOR Certified Surgical Technician experience
