The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Consultant plays a critical role in supporting the ministry by delivering strategic financial insights forecasting and planning. The consultant ensures that financial decisions are aligned with national development goals and government budgetary frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models tailored to ministry programs and initiatives.
- Analyze government financial data to identify trends risks and opportunities for fiscal optimization.
- Provide strategic recommendations to enhance budget efficiency within the ministry.
- Support the preparation of multi-year ministry budgets and financial plans.
- Present financial reports and policy impact analyses to senior ministry officials.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or Business Administration (Masters degree preferred).
- Minimum of 17 years of experience in financial planning and analysis with a strong focus on public sector finance including at least 3 years of experience in a governmental role within the State of Qatar.
- Proven expertise in developing financial strategies for government entities.
- Deep understanding of Qatars public finance regulations budgetary processes.
- Proven experience with ERP systems such as Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Bilingual proficiency (Arabic and English) is a must.
