Responsibilities:
- Answer hundreds of incoming phone calls daily for a multi-location dermatology practice
- Schedule patient appointments across 12 locations in Michigan and Florida
- Provide professional and patient customer service to dermatology patients
- Handle sensitive dermatology-related inquiries with high emotional intelligence
- Transfer Spanish-speaking patients to appropriate bilingual staff when needed
- Manage patient interactions through the RingCentral phone system
- Input and manage patient information in the MODMED EMR/CRM system
- Maintain professional demeanor during high-volume call periods
- Ensure first-time callers receive exceptional service to build brand loyalty
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience preferably in healthcare
- Healthcare industry experience required (understanding of insurance medical terminology compliance)
- Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written
- Spanish bilingual capabilities preferred for Florida locations
- Experience with CRM systems MODMED experience a plus
- High emotional intelligence and patience for handling sensitive patient concerns
- Ability to handle high call volumes (hundreds of calls per day)
- Professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation
- Experience working with American clients preferred
- Reliable computer and internet connection for remote work
