NI/MOD Project Manager (MOD)
Your main responsibilities
Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for delivering complex modernisation projects We are seeking aModernisation Project Manager to lead the delivery of lift and escalator modernisation projects from inception to completion. You will ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and designers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Deliver large-scale modernisation projects achieving all agreed objectives in a safe and controlled environment.
- Plan monitor and coordinate all technical aspects across sales pre-tender construction commissioning and handover phases.
- Ensure seamless project progression through all phases of tender negotiation and contract delivery.
- Lead and brief site teams ensuring compliance with CDM Health Safety and Environmental standards.
- Manage the permit to work system and create a safe working environment for all personnel and subcontractors.
- Oversee regular progress reporting design information control and quality checks.
- Identify and resolve site issues working collaboratively with the project team.
- Review contract specifications manage contract variations and monitor performance.
- Assist in monthly account valuations and ensure zero defects in all work.
- Attend project meetings and manage the beneficial use of goods lifts.
What you bring
Experience & Skills Required
- Proven experience in major repairs modernisation or installation within the lift or equivalent industry.
- Strong knowledge of design and construction processes.
- Background in management supervision commercial technical and installation roles.
- Technical expertise with lifts and escalators is highly desirable.
- Experience managing field personnel.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
Personal Qualities
- Visionary approach to identifying beneficial solutions.
- Excellent planning leadership and communication skills.
- Literate numerate and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Flexible and willing to travel as required.
