Role Summary:
Seeking an afterhours manager/supervisor is to ensure that productivity quality and efficiency standards are met. They will supervise staff coordinate workflows resolve operational issues and report to upper management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management:
- Supervise and support frontline staff.
- Assist in scheduling and delegation of tasks.
- Monitor performance and provide feedback.
- Operational Oversight:
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Monitor output to meet production targets.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Enforce company policies and safety procedures.
- Conduct regular safety audits and training.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare daily/weekly reports on performance metrics.
- Track inventory materials and job progress.
- Maintain accurate records of nightly performance.
- Problem Solving and Decision Making:
- Respond quickly to operational issues or emergencies.
- Make data-driven decisions to improve processes.
- Coordinate with other departments as needed.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Suggest improvements for workflow and efficiency.
- Lead or support special projects and change management efforts.
Qualifications
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Leadership and team supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Time management and multitasking
- Knowledge of industry-specific processes and systems
- Problem-solving and critical thinking
- 25 years of experience in operational and/or supervisory roles
