Position Overview
Sole Hire LLC is seeking a qualified and passionate Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Instructor to teach and mentor students in our Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. This on-campus position offers the opportunity to shape the next generation of healthcare professionals through high-quality instruction and hands-on learning. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism a positive attitude and a genuine commitment to student success.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lecture lab and clinical instruction following the established curriculum.
Maintain lesson plans objectives and evaluation methods in alignment with program standards.
Monitor student attendance participation and academic progress documenting as required.
Grade assignments promptly and provide feedback within 48 hours of submission.
Offer educational support and guidance during scheduled office hours or by appointment.
Substitute for other instructors as needed and collaborate with program leadership.
Maintain communication with academic leadership regarding student progress and classroom needs.
Monitor and manage classroom and lab equipment ensuring availability of materials and supplies.
Participate in curriculum development retention initiatives and program improvement efforts.
Attend all scheduled faculty meetings and serve on committees as assigned.
Maintain professional development through continuing education and participation in industry-related seminars and training.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies and accreditation standards.
Review online coursework daily (if applicable) and provide timely grading and responses to students.
Perform other instructional and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelors degree required.
Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program (recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or Council for Higher Education Accreditation).
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in diagnostic medical sonography performing Abdominal OB/GYN Superficial Structures and Vascular studies.
Registered in Abdomen and Obstetrics by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Registry in Vascular Technology preferred.
Prior teaching or training experience strongly preferred.
Excellent communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
