About the Role
Were seeking a Sports Risk Operations Lead to oversee and elevate the day-to-day performance of our Sports Risk team. Youll lead a group of analysts and operators to deliver operational excellence manage liabilities and drive continuous improvement across our trading environment.
Working closely with the Head of Trading Risk and key stakeholders across Trading Product Data and Compliance youll optimise processes strengthen controls and ensure we make data-driven risk-aware decisions that protect and grow the business.

About the Role
- Lead the Sports Risk team to deliver consistent high-quality operational performance.
- Manage liabilities within approved guidelines and ensure compliance with risk standards.
- Identify and implement process and tooling improvements to enhance efficiency and control.
- Partner with technical teams to ensure data and systems support effective risk management.
- Build strong relationships across Trading Product and Global Risk teams to influence outcomes and alignment.
- Coach and develop your team fostering a culture of collaboration accountability and continuous learning.
About You
- Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced operational or trading environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving capability with a data-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in Power BI Excel and reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of risk management and trading operations.
- Demonstrated success delivering measurable process and control improvements.
Desirable:
- Experience in the sports wagering or regulated trading industry.
- Familiarity with risk and compliance frameworks.
- Interest in automation or GenAI tools that drive efficiency.
